The Programme
I was elated and honoured to be asked to partake in the Scene + Heard design team again this year. The design aims to celebrate the uniqueness of each act across all art forms through the medium of acrobatics.
The festival offers a unique opportunity for artists to experiment with concepts and acts that they believe will inspire audiences, using Scene + Heard showcases excerpts of never before seen work in front of adventurous audiences who get to have their say and become part of the creation and development of future full-scale productions.
This project was a collaboration between myself and Ste Murray at Ste.ie.

The Process
Every year, the Scene + Heard posters and programmes provide an identity for the showcase, evolving from its foundational roots. We based the layout on the elements from when the project started in 2016, paying hommage to the core team who brought it to life, of which I am the newest addition.
This year, the director located their inspiration for the imagery through the abundance of aerial acts who pitched to be part of the festival. They desired the outcome to be playful, light and include an ascendant feel.
