About Me
I’m a designer and storyteller from Dublin, passionate about creating visually compelling narratives. My work spans film, TV, and theatre, where I aim to infuse authenticity and depth into every project. Recently, I worked as a Graphics Assistant on the period TV show *The Buccaneers* and the film *I Swear*. On *The Buccaneers*, set in 1879, I specialised in crafting historically accurate props, calligraphy, and court scene documents to build an immersive atmosphere. For *I Swear*, I developed action props and hero graphics, tailoring each piece to authentically reflect the characters and setting.
Previously, I earned an International Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from NCAD in Dublin and gained experience in theatre and performance design with Ste Murray’s studio. My personal projects continue to explore themes of philosophy and identity, often inspired by literature and cinema. Combining hands-on techniques with digital design, I strive to tell powerful stories through thoughtful visuals and typography.
Outside the studio, you’ll find me hiking, discussing films, or attending film score concerts.
"Maebh designed the poster and images for our show 'Paler, Still'. She is an incredibly talented graphic designer who was so easy to work with and highly professional. We had multiple meetings to chat through the show, our concept and any concerns that we had. She truly went above and beyond for us, checking in with us regularly and adjusting the designs to our taste. We love our designs and how they capture the essence of the play, guided by Meabh's own creative input. If you’re looking for a professional and talented graphic designer for your next project, I could not recommend Maebh more!"
